Purpose and Mission
The purpose of the Pre-Release Program is to afford sentenced inmates the
opportunity to obtain or maintain employment with approved employers in the
community, which in turn enables the inmate to meet their personal and court
ordered financial obligations.
The PA DOT Agility Program was launched in July 2000. This program utilizes
unemployed Pre Release eligible inmates to pick up trash along Interstate 81
and other state roads in Franklin County. |
